Quality you get

We return up to 1080p with audio merged in. Higher resolutions exist on YouTube but are video-only streams that make for very large files, so we cap at 1080p to keep downloads fast.

What will not work

  • Videos longer than 30 minutes are not supported.
  • Private, members-only and age-restricted videos need a signed-in session and are not supported.
  • Playlists and channels are not supported. One video at a time.

Why is there a length limit?

We cap downloads at 30 minutes. That covers almost everything while keeping the site fast and free of ads. For feature-length video, a desktop tool like yt-dlp is a better fit.

Can I download a whole playlist?
